ABOUT US

ABOUT SVIVA I’PARNASSAH INSTITUTE – SPI

A community study centre focused on guiding post high school and post seminary young women while they pursue a distance learning degree, in a supportive Torah environment.

CHALLENGE

Our young women today often need to earn a degree to help support a family. For many girls, studying on a traditional secular college campus is not an option. In addition, many online options do not offer degrees that are recognized at a post graduate level, particularly in Canada. Furthermore, distance learning programs do not provide local guidance or tutorial support.

VISION FOR CHANGE

Our goal is to present individualized pathways to each student, so they may earn a widely accepted undergraduate degree expeditiously using their seminary credits. Students will be guided to online colleges that are recognized in both Canada and the United States. Guidance will be focused on achieving earning power as quickly and efficiently as possible while staying in a Torah environment.

SOLUTION

A centre of learning where students may attend accredited shiurim, undertake online coursework, and receive individualized career and academic guidance. Students may be supported as early as late high school and continue through master’s degree level.
